you are reading this
and the poem is already
halfway down my throat
possessed by the damp
and the cries in me
my rooms are empty
everyone is out
netting yellow stars
there is no one left
to hear me drown
in the blue
and the wings
you are reading this
and the poem is already
sucking a soft skin
off my heart

I’ve already got this memorised. Who are you; who is this woman speaking to me in a language I can understand?

Lovely, lovely poem Danielle!
