Are stained white.
Black ink declared
All men to be equal but
Spines, rigged like chains,
Choked other limbs:
Feathered men
Replaced.
These vessels have knowledge
Where the sea ends.
Drains in Port of Spain
Flow where blue blood
Opens worlds.
