toto is back!!!

To all our faithful readers who contacted us about tongues of the ocean and what’s been going on, I’m pleased to announce that this Sunday will see the opening of a new issue, Issue Twelve.

We’ve had to change the way we do things around here. Strange to say, poets and editors (in the Caribbean, in this new millennium) have lives, and the growing interest in toto has coincided with a growing set of responsibilities of my own. So I’ve changed to an annual publication, at least for the time being.

This October marks the 2013 issue of toto, and it features poets of Bermuda.

Edited by Guest Editor Nancy Anne Miller, this promises to be a great issue, and marks the start of what I hope will be a new phase in the life of tongues of the ocean: special feature issues on specific Caribbean nations and their writers.

In the next post I will introduce Nancy Anne Miller and let her say a little for herself. Watch this space, and know that from now until the December, you’ll be able to see what Bermuda has to offer.
